Dün akşam Bill Murray‘nin başrolde oynadığı Groundhog Day filmini izledik. Ben film için uydurulmuş bir gün zannetmiştim, meğer Amerika ve Kanada’da gerçekten böyle bir gün kutlanıyormuş. Film her sabah saat 06:00′ı gösterdiğinde çalan radyo alarmıyla aynı güne (2 Şubat) uyanan bir adamı anlatıyor. Phil, televizyonda hava durumu sunucusu, tıpkı Groundhog Day kutlamalarında hava tahmini için kendisine danışılan dağsıçanı gibi. Filmin başında Phil hakkında öğrendiğimiz en temel özellik kendini bir “star” gibi görmesi. Birlikte çalıştığı insanlar daha ucuz bir otele yerleşirken kendisi daha konforlu başka bir otelde kalıyor. Tekrarlanan her yeni günde karşılaştığı aynı insanlara da böyle davranmaya devam ediyor.
